Personal Violence Prevention and Support Program

Our Support Workers will work with you to help you explore your options, discover your strengths and encourage your personal growth.

We offer:

  • Supportive counselling, information, and advocacy through individual or group support sessions
  • Referals to other community agencies and help with coordination of the services you need
  • Assistance with crisis situations
  • Assistance with access to shelter and planning for your safety

Community Outreach

As a regional program, we provide outreach services to those in need.  Our support workers can meet with you in your community, or you are welcome to come to our Melfort office, whichever you are more comfortable with.

24 Hour Crisis Line

Our 24 Hour Crisis Line provides:

  • Telephone support in any crisis
  • Supportive listening
  • Information and referrals

Public Awarness and Prevention

Our staff are available to provide education, awareness and prevention presentations to any group of interested children, youth or adults. 

Topics include but are limited to:

  • Interpersonal violence/abuse
  • Dating violence
  • Sexual Assault/abuse
  • Healthy Relationships

Resource Centre

Our Resource Centre is located on the mail floor of our office and contains resources available to everyone.
